Alchi Monastery (Alchi Gompa)

Alchi Monastery, also known as Alchi Gompa, is a Buddhist monastery located in the Alchi village of the Leh district in Ladakh. It is renowned for its ancient and exquisite wall paintings, which are considered to be some of the oldest surviving examples of Kashmiri-style Buddhist art.
