Corbett National Park, established in 1936 as Hailey National Park, holds the distinction of being India's oldest and most prominent National Park. It is also remembered as the location where Project Tiger was first launched in 1973. This one-of-a-kind tiger area is well known as the father of Project Tiger in India, which aims to protect the most endangered species and the Royal wild animals of India known as Tigers.
