Leh Palace

Leh Palace, also known as Lachen Palkar Palace, is a historic royal palace in Ladakh, India, overlooking the city of Leh. Sengge Namgyal erected it in 1600. When Dogra soldiers took control of Ladakh in the mid-nineteenth century and forced the royal family to relocate to Stok Palace, the palace was abandoned.
