Likir Monastery (Likir Gompa)

Likir Monastery, also known as Likir Gompa, is a Buddhist monastery located in the Likir village of the Leh district in Ladakh. It is one of the oldest and most well-known monasteries in the region. Likir Monastery was established in the 11th century and belongs to the Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism.
