Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport now operates two passenger terminals:

- Terminal 1 in Santacuz, serves low-cost airlines, with three neighboring buildings.

- Terminal 2 in Sahar handles local and international flights and has a capacity of 40 million passengers per year.

  • Location: The international terminal is located at Sahar in Eastern Andheri while the domestic terminal is in Santa Cruz, 30 km (19 miles) and 24 km (15 miles) north of the city center respectively.

3. Bangalore International Airport (25 million passengers)

Bangalore International Airport, India's third busiest, is privately operated and serves 25 million travelers each year.

If you fly from Vietnam, you will arrive at Bangalore International Airport (also known as Kempegowda Airport). Because there are no direct flights connecting the two cities, you will have to transit through Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, or Delhi.

4. Chennai International Airport (20 million passengers)

Chennai Airport is India's fourth largest airport and the main arrival and departure point for southern India. Although Kolkata Airport is an international airport, around 85% of passengers are domestic. It is India's fifth busiest airport, with approximately 19 million passengers passing through in 2017.

  • Location: Dum Dum, 16 kilometers (10 miles) northeast of the city centre.
  • Travel time to City Center: 45 minutes to 1.5 hours.

6. Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (16 million visitors)

Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is also known as New Hyderabad. This airport focuses on large airlines and international flights.
